Collaborative Robotic PCB Test Automation

Developed a collaborative robotic test system using the ABB YuMi to automate precision electrical validation of printed circuit boards (PCBs).

 

The robot was programmed to position positive and negative multimeter probes on designated test points, assuring consistent contact force and repeatable measurement alignment.

 

The project demonstrated fine motor control, coordinated dual-arm motion, and safe human-robot collaboration in a controlled electronics testing environment.

 

This application demonstrates the potential of collaborative robots to assist with repetitive electrical inspection and validation tasks while maintaining operator safety.
