About David Garcia

I’m a New York–born Senior Robotics Engineer whose background was forged through discipline, hands-on problem solving, and global experience. I served 10 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, operating in high-pressure environments where reliability, accountability, and leadership were mission-critical.

That foundation continues to shape how I work and lead today.

Professionally, I specialize in field robotics, operations, and complex technical systems — bridging engineering design with real-world execution. I’m known for staying calm under pressure, solving difficult problems in the field, and helping teams deliver dependable results where failure isn’t an option.

Outside of engineering, I’m happiest on the water. I love fishing, but sailing is my passion — especially navigating the Hudson River each week during the season. Sailing demands precision, awareness, and respect for the environment — the same principles that define engineering done right.
